Comming on a holiday to Malta should definitely be on your bucket list. - Get full insurance on your vehicle. Even if you're a professional driver, you might get into an accident. Having to deal with an uninsured car will take a lot of your vacation time when you could spend it on the beach under the umbrella drinking cocktails 😃
- 4. Beware of the green and blue parking spots! Some areas in Malta (eg. Valletta and Sliema) have dedicated parking places for the people who live there and are not available for free parking during certain hours. It is not expensive but sometimes is just better if you park on the normal (white marks) parking spots and have a walk around the city.
